The Reason Everyone Is Talking About Item Upgrade Right Now
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations used.
For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one similar one with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. They don't keep the original equipment's condition and any money wasted aren't rewarded.
The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. They can also be obtained by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players first need to find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the requirements are met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity and rarity, the upgrade process could be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. It's a great way for players who wish to get an edge in battle but don't want to spend a lot of money. Moreover players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to acquire them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will receive an upgraded level. This process can continue until the item reaches its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at a time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be applied and an appropriate level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When players have enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade items process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The highest level for an item upgrading is 19.
Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available for it. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will have a discount.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to offer an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats on weapons and armor that they currently own. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium and a number Upgrade tokens.
Item upgrade components can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the quality item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components have additional modifiers which can further improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Some items benefit from upgrading less for their increased stats, but because it allows players to get the most value from a flawless roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the necessary requirements. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
