Albums
Toto's discography consists of 13 studio albums and four live albums. There are also compilations. In addition to the release of original music, Toto has also done collaborations with other artists and on soundtracks for films. Toto has won numerous Grammy Awards.
Before the formation of Toto, band members did session work for 첫가입 꽁머니 other musicians. Drummer Jeff Porcaro, bassist David Hungate and keyboardist David Paich (the son of session percussionist Marty Paich and brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro) played on Boz Scaggs 1975 album Silk Degrees. The third album of Toto, Turn Back, marked an abrupt departure from the progressive sound of their previous albums and was criticized for the lack of hit singles. In 1985, the group's lead singer Fergie Fredericksen quit, and the band held auditions to find a replacement frontman. In 1998, Toto celebrated its 20th anniversary by re-discovering demos and tapes from the past to release a special album called Toto XX. The album was well received by fans and the band went on a tour with former members Bobby Kimball, Steve Porcaro and Joseph Williams.
During the tour for the album 40 Trips Around the Sun the drummer Leland Sklar quit the group and was replaced by Shem von Schroeck. In 2017, Toto released a double-CD live set called Falling in Between, which included live recordings from the tour and an interview with Toto.
