World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses

The upgrade to an item is a kind of enchantment which increases the stats in certain weapons or armor. This includes tertiary statistics like Leech and Speed.

Upgrade materials can be collected by players when they provide clear content. They can be used to improve or replace an item. Each item requires a specific type of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones, while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. These materials are renamed when the item is upgraded, for instance Stone Fragments become Stones and Harmony Shards become Life Shards.

It is important to upgrade items to increase the performance of a character. However it is also crucial to consider how much this will cost. Every time an item is upgraded, it will cost an amount of gold that could be better used on an entirely new piece of equipment. This is why it is recommended to only upgrade the most necessary items in any given scenario.

This means upgrading the weapon, then the chest, legs and the helm. Upgrade trinkets now if the player has the money to do so. This will increase their potential for procs. For example, a high-end Throne of Thunder trinket may be worth upgrading due to the greater damage it can cause from its procs. In the same way, there is an Occultist in every town that can be visited to alter a weapon or armor's Aspects and/or stats. This is helpful if want to improve an epic five-star unit or when your four-star elite character is giving you trouble.

Rerolling tokens are available through completing certain quests. These can be bought from the Occultist at 300 gold or found in holozons that are dropped by certain dungeons. Sets

A set is a group of items that are similar in some way. You use sets every day like a dozen eggs or a group of friends. They are useful because they help you organize things, and also operations like union, intersection and distinction help you to manage them effectively. Sets can be used in a variety of ways, including organizing the music on a playlist or classifying students according to their grades.

In Nioh the game uses Sets to give special effects when players wear armor from a specific armor set. These bonuses, known as Set Bonuses, are similar to and sometimes better than Effects. While it's not explained in-universe why the armor sets must be worn together in order to create these extra effects, they can provide some variety when playing the game. The armor sets that have Set Bonuses can be found numerous locations around Hyrule like the Dark Moon Temple and Twilight Temple.

Each piece of equipment in a Set includes a set of Set bonuses that go along with it. The tooltip on the bottom of the item will inform you what Set Bonuses are available. Set Bonuses are displayed in a box that has a red border.

Some of these Set Bonuses are exclusive to a specific piece equipment. If you purchase the entire Phantom Armor set, you will be rewarded with +8 defense (instead of the standard +3 defense that you receive with the majority of equipment). Some sets are only available by completing certain tasks or buying them from the Auction House.

It is also possible to get Set Bonuses on several pieces of equipment at the same time. For instance, if you have the complete Kestra's Descent set and the matching parts of the Twinblade of Shadow you will get the + version of that set's bonus when you be able to match it.

In contrast to Effects which change every time you upgrade them, Set Bonuses remain the same, even as the individual pieces of equipment they're connected to increase in. If an item is exemplared to levels that are too low, the set bonus will cease working.

Set bonuses

Set bonuses are a special effect that are available on a set of gear that can give a bonus in battle. They provide a certain amount of a certain type of stat, for example weapon damage, or defenses, or even resistances. However, they don't stack; only one can be active at a time. The amount of a particular stat is determined by the number of pieces of the set are used which means you could have three chests and one armour, and four weapons, for instance. but only the one with the most bonus will benefit you.

They typically enhance the primary stat however, they can boost secondary stats as well. Defence bonuses boost three defence positions and two types of defenses. The most important thing to keep in mind is that a set bonus's strength will not change if you exemplar more than three levels below the minimum level allowed for an Enhancement of this type. This rule is not applicable to Purple (Very rare) Sets PvP Sets, PvP Sets or Archetype Origin Sets. Their set bonuses will function regardless of the exemplar level.
