Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the power of a piece and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.

For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon or rings. The item is replaced with another item of the same type and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item and any resources wasted aren't refunded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item such as increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To produce them, you need a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next success is rerolled. This is a way to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they show an image and description of the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.

This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These stones are special stones that boost the value of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, players must first locate the appropriate item and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be when being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he is able to select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to get an advantage in combat without straining their bank account. Furthermore players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are several methods to get the stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition, players can cut down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade item trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will gain an upgraded level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been reached.

Items with upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components don't stack against each other, and can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade items component requires a certain number of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Once the player has enough items by pressing the yellow arrow, it will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded, the stats of the base item will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an Best item upgrade (Full Statement) is at its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. When a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will come with a discount.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs, which can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide additional effects or an increase in quality of the item. The upgrades can be acquired from various sources in the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the stats of the item.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and also gives an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand, increases weapon damage.

Some items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats and more for the fact that it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

The game will highlight the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the item type (either weapon or armor) the level of the item as well as the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
