Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.

The racial Shield elite Razortail, for example, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item like a weapon, armor or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one similar item and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. They don't keep the original item's level, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded.

Survivors can obtain tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests, or purchased at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item such as increasing its damage.

Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next success is to be rerolled. This is a way to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of every preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they will display an image and description of the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones which increase the value of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. They can also be obtained by players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's level, and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item upgrading's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. This makes it an excellent method for players to get a significant advantage in combat without putting a strain on their bank account. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for novice players. There are a variety of ways to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows you to boost the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade items trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade materials and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been attained.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this could destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

Upgrades to items allow players to boost the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the type of item but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a number of upgrade items Tokens (various options available).

item level upgrade upgrade components can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an item, it cannot be removed and replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the stats of the item.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get the perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.

If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the required requirements. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

If you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to show how close you are to completing it. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
