The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.

Reroll Tokens

Survivors can obtain tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the required requirements.
