Examples

After ‘Ashurā, Zaynab bint 'Alī seems to have aimed to tame Yazīd’s arrogance and celebration by responding to his gloating by reframing the event by reportedly saying,

“All I saw was beauty.”

Possible examples

Muhammad may have been aiming to reframe the cognition of people in response to Jews who gloated about the crucifixion of ‘Isā and instead reframing the event and honouring him by saying,

“They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him.”
