Item upgrading allows players to upgrade their weapons and equipment with new affixes, boosting its stats base or giving additional benefits. To upgrade an item, a player has to have it in their inventory as well as access to the kiln.

Typically items with weak bases (like rings) can be upgraded to a stronger base while items with strong bases like Eth titans don't change much in their stats after being upgraded.

Upgrade components
